The Sign Authority, located in Wheaton IL, recently completed construction on a new monument sign for Cedarhurst Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in Naperville/Woodridge, IL. Cedarhurst Assisted Living is designed to enhance the lives of each of their residents by providing a healthy balance between independence and support. Their construction team contracted The Sign Authority to build their beautiful monument sign in the front of their newly constructed building.

A project like this requires several phases work before the monument sign has been completed. The first step in every project is to do a site survey and submit proofs for approval before breaking ground on the construction of the monument sign. The building contractors provided detailed architectural drawings for us to use to begin fabrication and construction. The electric sign box seen at the top of the sign, is placed into production, during which time we begin digging/pouring the foundation. We then set the poles for the electrical sign that will be placed on top of the stone base in the concrete foundation. The electrical sign box is placed on the poles and the masonry work begins on the stone base. Sometimes it is best to build the stone around the already installed sign to make sure the sign will fit in the space. If there is only a fraction of an inch difference in the opening the sign might not fit.

What you see here is the finished product. There are so many different monument styles to choose from. We can construction monument sign base with aluminum, stone, brick or even HDU (high density urethane). We can work with almost any budget, and still deliver an eye-catching beautifully crafted monument sign.
